Juliette Gordon Low Society
The Juliette Gordon Low Society honors individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment to Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi by making a planned gift.
After Juliette Gordon Low gathered 18 girls together to begin Girl Scouts in her Savannah home in early 1912, she converted the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters. She then gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will. Juliette's bequest was the beginning of planned giving to Girl Scouts. In her memory, 100 years later, the Juliette Gordon Low Society has been established to thank and honor friends who choose to make Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi part of their legacies and a beneficiary in their estate plans.
