Perhaps you spent one summer at Camp Wahi, or many. Maybe you attended with your troop one weekend or for a special day event. Or maybe, just maybe, you are discovering Camp Wahi for the first time. No matter how many summers or weekends you spent at Camp Wahi over the years, no matter how many different roles you played, every one of you has made it possible for us not just to be celebrating the first 75 years of Camp Wahi but also to make it possible for the next 75 years as well.
Please join us for this special day of connection, reflection, and celebration honoring 75 years of sisterhood, tradition, and shared memories. Experience again the spirit and magic that make Camp Wahi so special. This forested wonderland is still located just outside of Brandon, at 1593 Shiloh Road.
Your registration includes entry to a truly memorable day celebrating 75 years of camping at Camp Wahi, along with lunch, a homemade dessert, a commemorative gift, and a water bottle. The schedule for the day is relaxed, providing you the opportunity to revisit cherished places, create a small camp craft, sing some favorite camp songs, and most importantly, reunite with Girl Scout friends. Would you like to contribute to the Memories of Camp Wahi display during the celebration? If so, submit up to 2 photos of your days at Camp Wahi along with a short sentence describing who is in the picture and when it was taken, and send to: Susan Elliott Merrill: susan.merrill@hotmail.com or directly by calling: 817-914-5632. Please understand that the pictures provided become the property of Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi and may be used as part of a slideshow on the day of the event and possibly in future slide shows featuring Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi.
