Join us for a fun hiking adventure! Brownie Girl Scouts, please meet at the Natchez Trace Yockanookany Trailhead in Canton, MS. During this event, girls will learn the basics of navigation and day hiking while enjoying a guided hike through the beautiful woods. Please ensure that hikers bring a backpack containing the following items: a rain jacket, bug spray, a water bottle with at least 20 ounces of water, and a snack. No prior hiking experience is required, but each hiker is expected to carry their own day pack. This is a drop-off event, and adults will have limited space available. At the end of the trail, the girls will earn the Brownie Trail Adventure and Hiking badges. We can't wait to see you there!

For more information about the hike, please contact Candy Sanders at 601-326-5658 or csanders@gsgms.org. To reach the Mississippi Hwy 43 Trailhead, exit the Natchez Trace Parkway at Milepost 115. Then, head west on MS Hwy 43 for a short distance until you reach Yandell Road. Turn left (south) and continue for 100 feet, then turn left into the parking area.
