Join us for a heartwarming adventure at Camp Iti Kana with our friends from Southern Cross Animal Rescue! They're on a big, important mission to help animals who have been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated and to teach people how to make the world a better place for our furry friends. During this special badge workshop, you'll learn all about how to be kind and caring to animals, what it means to be an animal advocate (that means speaking up for those who can't), why it's crucial to help stop pet overpopulation, and how can you make a difference--right now! You will hear stories, play games, explore basic animal care, and discover how to be a helper to all creatures big and small. And the best part? By the end of the day, you will have earned your Animal Observer badge. So bring your big heart, your curious mind, and your love for animals, and let's learn how to be friends with every pet and wild critter we meet!
Check-in starts 30 minutes before your session. An adult must accompany the girls, and troops should be in the correct girl-to-adult ratio. This is a member event; no tagalongs.
