Outdoor Living Skills - Wahi
Are you looking to take your Girl Scouts camping beyond council led opportunties? Then you are required to take the Outdoor Living Skills certification class. This is an overnight class that teaches the basic outdoor living skills to registered volunteers. From basic tent camping, fire building, cooking, and Leave No Trace principals, to practicing compass and knife skills. Basic Outdoor Living Skills training teaches volunteers to rely on each other, make connections and learn from each other, and make a difference. Volunteers are trained and ready to make a camping experience safe, follow Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints and ensure the experience is girl-led.
Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. Check-out will be the next morning at 11:00 am. Your packing list can be found attached to your event confirmation in your MyGS account.
