COVID Guidelines For Girl Scout Meetings

Girl Scout Wearing Mask

As we begin a new year, fresh from large gatherings of family and friends for many of us, and with COVID numbers rising quickly, we will return to following CDC guidelines for in-person meetings with girls.  This means that:

  • If a girl or volunteer has COVID symptoms or anyone in their house has symptoms, the girl and/or volunteer should not attend the meeting.

  • Temperatures are taken as girls enter the meeting place.  Anyone running a fever must leave.

  • Everyone should wear a mask if proper social distancing cannot be maintained in the meeting space.

  • Hand sanitizer should be used frequently at all meetings when girls are handling shared supplies, like scissors, markers, etc.
