Whether your girl is a first-time camper or a veteran seeking new adventures, she will find fun, friendship and memories to last a lifetime at Girl Scout summer camp. Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi offers a wide variety of camp options for all girls, (and only girls) including themed specialty activities as well as traditional crafts, songs and campfires.

Girl Scouts is proud to be the premiere leadership organization for girls in our country.  Imagine the expression of amazement on a girl’s face when she rides a horse for the first time, sets out on a canoe, achieves the perfect spiral tie-dye or sits giggling with new friends around a campfire.  Girls discover new ideas and skills by participating in camp programs.

They face challenges and celebrate their successes when they accomplish something they may never have dreamed possible before their camp experiences.

Register your Girl Scout for one of our summer camp programs today!

Camp Wahi
Resident Camp

Camp Crazy Days - Brownies/Juniors - Experience a little of everything at camp while developing new friendships and growing in confidence.  Splash around in the pool, paddle out in the canoe, let the arrow fly with archery, and create a masterpiece in crafts.  Each day the girls will dress up to show their Girl Scout camp spirirt.

Girl Boss - Juniors/Cadettes - Have you ever wondered what it would be like to start your own business?  To be your own boss?  Do you have ideas or new inventions?  We'll see you at camp Girl Boss, a community of strong, curious, and ambitious young ladies that are redefining success on their own terms.  Spend the week designing, marketing, and selling your new product line to campers.  Round out the week at the pool, lakefront, and dabble in archery.

Gourmet Goodness - Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes - Do you love to bake or interested in learning how to cook?  Then grab your whisk, chef's hat, and apron as you embark on a kitchen journey and put a unique twist on snacks, bake something sweet, or even cook over an open fire.  Learn life skills and outdoor education as you round out the week with art, archery, swimming, and so much more.

Camp Care-a-lot - Brownies/Juniors - Making new friends can be hard, but at Camp Care-a-lot friends that last a lifetime are easy.  Unlock the magic and design your very own Care Bear.  Round out the week with swimming, canoeing, archery, and so much more.

Lights, Camera, Action - Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes - Spend the week learning and prepping for a real theater experience.  From screen play to props, to acting.  Connect with your character and bring your creative imagination to life.  Girls will present a live production to campers, but not before they splash in the pool, paddle around in the lake, and take a turn at archery.

Troop Camp

Greek Greatness - Step back in time when Gods & Goddesses were the symbol of Green civilization.  Participate in ancient games, a Mediterranean BBQ, and gather around the campfire for skits and stories.  Can your troop fight in the great color wars and capture the flag?  All troops are encouraged to come in their finest togas (camp appropriate required).

Treasure Island - Where X marks the spot, the treasure you shall find.  Experience a weekend checking your compass and finding clues that lead to a treasure chest.  Read maps, build your shop, navigate the waters, and walk the plank.  But first, your troop must complete all tasks and challenges to solve the mystery of who stole the camp cookies.

Day Camp

Daisy Girl Scouts are invited to participate in a full day of Girl Scout camp activities. The adventure starts with songs, camp cheers, games, arts & crafts, and water play all in a safe, and comfortable camp setting. Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. and check-out is at 5:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and a midday snack will be served. Girls will have the opportunity to stroll in our trading post for some camp merchandise. Parents can drop off or stay the day with their girl for an additional $5. No males are permitted to stay during Day Camp due to resident camp being in session.

Horse and Pony Show - Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes - Horse camp offers two levels this year!  Beginners (Cowgirls) will learn horse care and basic horse skills; and Intermediates (Trail Riders) will ride the trails, learn to trot, and will practice guiding skills through an obstacle course.  Beginner riders are for those who have never ridden before, or who have only ridden a few times.  Novice horseback riders will learn to start, stop, and steer, and to control their horses.  Intermediate riders are those who have completed a previous camp or taken riding lessons - campers must be able to independently control a horse at a walk.

Camp Care-a-lot - Brownies/Juniors - Making new friends can be hard, but at Camp Care-a-lot friends that last a lifetime are easy.  Unlock the magic and design your very own Care Bear.  Round out the week with swimming, canoeing, archery, and so much more.

Outdoor Strong - Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes - Explore camp during twilight hours and learn what happens when the sun goes down.  Use a compass, build a fort, follow the Leave No Trace principles during this week of hiking, kayaking, canoing, dwindling, knotting, and so much more.
